Okay, based on the chat about SG chat maybe this needs to be talked about a bit directly.
One of the concerns raised was the fact that we're a teen based group of super heroes who are rebelling against the norm and coming together without mentors, without as many rules and without registration. So what does that mean for us?
I see both sides of the debate on what is appropriate for the channel and I agree that censorship is bad. However, it's a non issue if the kinds of characters in Prodigy don't go down certain roads.
For example if we say we don't admit "Anti-villains" then we're unlikely to have the SG channel full of descriptions of torture. On the other hand if we admit "Captain McKillsalot" then we might also lose members who prefer not to associate with such. Ya know?
Should we be talking about recruiting guidelines and new-member expectations, or is this a non issue?
